Finding the right inspiration for lyrics

I’ve been stuck on a verse for a while now and can’t seem to shake this creative block. I often draw from personal experiences, but lately, I feel like I need a new perspective. How do you guys find fresh inspiration for your lyrics when you hit a wall?

Sometimes stepping away helps — like letting that verse marinate while you explore a totally different art form. I’ve found watching movies or reading poetry can spark ideas in unexpected ways. Have you tried putting on a different genre of music to shake things up?

But why not try collaborating with a friend? Fresh eyes might bring that new perspective you need… @oliver6894 had a good point about exploring other art forms too.
